Fisunic had a clear business model, sell and rent physiotherapy equipment to customers who needed ortho-care solutions, but no digital presence to support it. As more people shifted to online shopping, the brand recognised that an Ecommerce website was essential to reach customers and grow beyond their existing channels.
They needed more than just a website. They needed a powerful, well-structured Ecommerceportal that could handle both sales and rental subscriptions, make product browsing intuitive, and give customers the confidence to pay online.

About Our Client
Fisunic is a Spain-based Ecommerce business selling and renting physiotherapy equipment for ortho-care needs. The brand makes it easy for customers to purchase equipment outright or subscribe to a monthly rental, ideal for those who need equipment temporarily or prefer a flexible payment model. As part of its growth strategy, Fisunic decided to build an Ecommerce website that would serve as the backbone of its online sales operation.
Our Approach
Our first step at Fisunic was to comprehensively understand the client need – not just in terms of technical requirements, but also from a business and user experience point of view. To get to know their product line, their customers’ buying habits and what this platform could do to better satisfy both customers and renters, we arranged a number of discovery sessions with the Fisunic team.
Having a clear understanding of requirements, we carried out industry research to gain insight into the expectations of the user regarding the style and functionality of health and physiotherapy equipment. We also did a review of similar platforms in the market which helped us in recognizing best practices, and in areas that we can give an advantage to Fisunic.
We then formed a team of cross-functional members (Laravel developers, Ecommerce strategists, UI designers, and a project manager) and created a comprehensive action plan, covering every aspect of the project, from design to deployment.

The Solution
How EcomSupport360 Delivered the Fisunic Ecommerce Platform.
We approached the project in two focused phases: nailing the design first, then building out the full Ecommerce functionality on top of a robust Laravel and Bagisto foundation.
Phase 1: Design
Three Concepts. One Clear Winner.
Our design team has developed three different design concepts prior to development of Fisunic platform. Both were designed with the user in mind, somebody seeking healthcare equipment, desiring a clean, reliable and user-friendly experience.
We held a review session with the client, and chose the best idea and adjusted it according to their suggestions. The final design was based on a Bootstrap template and was customized to incorporate Fisunic’s branding and the professionalism of physiotherapy equipment.

Phase 2: Development
A Laravel + Bagisto Stack Built for Sales and Rentals.
Once the design had been approved, the development started in earnest. Given the various Ecommerce features that Fisunic required, our team opted for Laravel, which allows us to integrate the rental subscription model, and the powerful open-source Ecommerce package called Bagisto.
Developed entire Ecommerce site from scratch using Laravel and Bagisto.
Created a sales flow and monthly subscription/rental flow for a product in the same platform.
Implement PayPal to provide online transactions with global trust and reliability. Add PayPal as the main payment method for trusted and safe online payments.
Created a admin panel for managing the product catalogue, tracking orders and controlling back-end.
Incorporated user account creation, profile and password management functionality
Developed and applied workflows for delivering structured records of one-off purchases and recurrent order rentals
The approach to strategic planning and re-using existing successful Laravel architecture has been helpful in cutting down the development time and we were able to deliver the final platform weeks earlier than agreed.
